Description

OBVERSE

The obverse of the medal comprises the flag of this great nation surrounded by the words ‘For Crown and Country’. The distinctive star formation has been inspired by the First and Second World War Star whilst its highly polished nickel plated finish ensures that it stands alone like no other struck in the United Kingdom.

REVERSE

The reverse of the star has a sandblasted finish ideal for engraving your service details (available as an optional extra).

RIBBON

The broad central stripes of the ribbon represent the three branches of the armed forces framed by red, white and blue representing Great Britain. This medal is supplied on a concealed single pin, ready to wear.

History

A medal to recognise the vital contribution of veterans from all British and Commonwealth Forces who served a minimum of 2 years’ service.

Eligibility

The Veterans Star, available to those who served in any of our Great British & Commonwealth Forces for a minimum period of two years, their next of kin or direct descendants may also apply.

The medal is fitted with a uniquely woven ribbon, completed with a concealed individual brooch bar, ready to wear with pride, not alongside campaign medals, gallantry decorations or in uniform by serving members but separately and distinctively.
