Legion d'honneur (Chevalier) Full Size Medal Loose

A beautifully crafted full-size medal of the Legion d'Honneur (Chevalier), handmade in meticulous detail using silver and vitreous enamel. The National Order of the Legion of Honour, established by Napoleon in 1802, is France's highest decoration. This medal is supplied with a loose ribbon as it would have originally have been awarded.

The face in profile is the obverse of the medal, and the crossed French flags is the reverse of the medal.
